About QR Codes for Bus Stops

Quick Response (QR) codes are bar codes in two-dimensional mode.

They are typically shown as squares with patterns in black on a white background. You can create codes based on numeric or alphanumeric data and a variety of characters and symbols. They can be read quickly and store large amounts of data.

QR codes for bus stops typically contain the URL of the transit agency’s website and the page that contains information such as bus schedule, stop address, and the lines and services associated with each stop. The bus stop information is encrypted.
