About Stop Types
The types of Stops are mainly determined by how they are used.
The abbreviations representing stop types in the Stop Patterns screen
are:
-
S (Stop): If the column header is blue, the location is a stop only. If the column header is black, the location is a node AND a stop. Passengers can get on and off the service vehicle.
-
L (Load only): Passengers can only get on the service vehicle at this stop.
- U (Unload only): Passengers can only get off the service vehicle at this stop.
- N (Node only): Passengers cannot get on or off the service vehicle at this node, that is, used as a time point only.
The Stop Types are replaced with distance or weight values when you select Distances or Link Weights, respectively, from the Route Definition menu.
Note: When a TransitMaster Data Load is performed, stops at the end of stop patterns are
always marked as U (Unload Only).
