About Trip Building
Trip building refers to the process of building schedules that show the times that vehicles are expected to arrive or depart from identified locations along a route. It is performed after determining the routes, node and stop patterns.
About the Trip Building Screen
The Trip Building screen, which is comprised of four tabs, allows you to create trips for transit vehicles along one line in one direction from a start node to an end node.

The Trip Building screen, which is comprised of four tabs, allows you to create trips for transit vehicles along one line in one direction from a start node to an end node.

To open the Trip Building screen, click Task > Trip Building or click the Trip Building button on the main toolbar: Edit button

The Trip Building screen contains four tabs: Trips, Run Times, Node to Node, and Stop Trips.

On each of these tabs, the data is presented in grids. The grids for each direction of the route appear by default as shown in the graphic (for example, Eastbound and Westbound). You can adjust the width of each grid by moving the splitter. As in the Route Definition screen, only one grid appears for single directional trips.

A screen toolbar also appears below the main toolbar for each tab.

At the bottom right of the screen, the Set Mode information such as sign-up period, service, and line information that you selected appears.
