S10 Report

S10 refers to the Service form of the NTD. The S10 report for Non-Rail vehicles provides summary data on the transit services scheduled and operated by the transit agency measured in terms of vehicles, unlinked passenger trips, hours and days operated.

Parameter Description
Agency (If applicable) Some transit organizations that offer continuous transit service across several geographical areas consist of several units identified as agencies.
Division Typically, defined either by geographic or revenue area served by a number of full and/or part-time operators or by mode of transportation such as bus, streetcars, or subways.
Ride Modes Sample options on methods used to perform checks: Riding Survey Sheet, Riding Handheld, Automated, Random, Point Survey Sheet, Point Handheld.
From Date Start date of the date range covered in the report.
To Date End date of the date range covered in the report.
TransitID Government-assigned ID of the transit site.
Fiscal Year End End date of the transit site's one-year or 12-month accounting period.
From Time Start time of the time period of each day covered in the report.
To Time End time of the time period of each day covered in the report.
Vehicles Operated Max Service Number of vehicles that provide service during the fiscal year.
Vehicles Available Max Service Number of vehicles that are available to provide service during the fiscal year.

Unlinked passenger trips Weekday

Number of passengers who board the vehicles on weekdays. They are counted each time they board a vehicle regardless of fare paid or transfers.

If set to 0, the system calculates the trips based on check data.

Unlinked passenger trips Saturday Number of passengers who board the vehicles on Saturdays. They are counted each time they board a vehicle regardless of fare paid or transfers.

If set to 0, the system calculates the trips based on check data.

Unlinked passenger trips Sunday

Number of passengers who board the vehicles on Sundays. They are counted each time they board a vehicle regardless of fare paid or transfers.

If set to 0, the system calculates the trips based on check data.

Charter service hours

Number of hours that vehicles were hired for exclusive use. These type of vehicles do not operate on a regular route or schedule and are not available to the general public.

School bus hours Number of hours that vehicles were used primarily for transporting students to and from school.
Strike Weekday Number of weekdays that vehicles did not operate because of strikes.
Strike Saturday Number of Saturdays that vehicles did not operate because of strikes.
Strike Sunday Number of Sundays that vehicles did not operate because of strikes.
Mixed traffic right of way Length of routes that have mixed traffic (pedestrian and vehicle traffic) used for transit operations.
Include Flex If selected, flex data of lines with flex trips are included.
Include Internal

If selected, data of lines that are not included in public itineraries such as school lines are included in the report.

Export as

Report format options are: PDF, CSV, Excel (spreadsheet), RTF, and Word (word processor). Set to PDF by default.
