Using Transfer Identities to LDAP

You can access the transfer tool using a browser to connect to your Trapeze6 Service Shell.

Before attempting to transfer identities, your Trapeze6 Service Shell must be running and you must have set the LDAP properties.
  1. In your browser enter: http:/HOST:PORT/App/core/ui/workspace/main.
Where HOST = the Service shell address and PORT = Service shell port number.
  2. Log in as Admin.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Users and Security.
The Security field on the Users and Security screen will identify user accounts as built-in accounts created in Trapeze for which there is no identical LDAP account (Built-in User Account), accounts created in LDAP or previously transferred LDAP User Account), and accounts in conflict because they were created in Trapeze but there is an identical LDAP account (LDAP Conflict.
  5. Click Transfer Identities To LDAP.
Accounts in conflict are automatically added to the Transfer pane. Accounts created in Trapeze that are not in conflict are listed in the Identities pane. LDAP accounts not in conflict are listed in the LDAP Identities pane.
  6. If the mapping of an account in the Transfer pane is incorrect, select the account and click Delete selected item from transfer list to remove it.
The Trapeze account will be added to the Identities pane and the LDAP account to the LDAP Identities pane.
  7. To map Trapeze accounts to LDAP accounts, select the accounts to map in the Identities and LDAP Identities panes and click Add selected identities to transfer list.
The account mapping is added to the Transfer pane.
  8. When you have completed mapping accounts, click OK.
The accounts are mapped and now appear in the Users and Security screen with the Security field icon LDAP User Account.
