Virtualization Platforms

Trapeze supports licensed versions of VMware vSphere, VMware vCenter Server, and Microsoft Hyper-V Server Platform.

Note: Trapeze understands that every virtual environment has unique characteristics. Consequently, it is important to consult with your Trapeze representative and Trapeze Network Engineering staff for the recommended virtual machine hardware specifications for your specific Trapeze product in order to avoid Disk, CPU and Memory Oversubscription. Trapeze technical staff will work with your VMware administrator to help with your Trapeze product minimum hardware requirements for deployment in your VMware environment. Server performance should be evaluated on a regular basis to determine over or under utilization of provisioned resources. Platforms should be updated and patched regularly to help ensure you are protected against external security threats.

Virtualization platforms change at a regular basis so please check with your Trapeze representative for platform specifics. Some Trapeze products may require additional testing with specific versions or virtualization platforms, so please confirm testing requirements with your Trapeze representative during planning.
