Putting Audio Files on Voice Gateway

You can put your audio files on Voice Gateway through your web browser.

  1. Open your web browser.
  2. In the Address bar, type ftp://gatewayip.
    The Login screen appears.
  3. In the User name field, type pw.
  4. In the Password field, type pw.
    Windows-based Voice Gateway servers do not have pw set as the default for the user name and password. (The pw username/password is only for the SMC/System Management Console.) You may have to create a suitable username/password login to be used for the FTP.
  5. Click Log On.
  6. Double click the Audio Folder.
  7. To create a folder, right click and select New > Folder from the shortcut menu.
  8. Type an appropriate name for the folder. We recommend adding the following suffixes to the folder names:

    • PASS for PASS

    • INFO for Fixed Route

    • School for School

  9. Double-click the new folder.
  10. Double-click the My Computer icon on your desktop and browse to the location of your audio files. Drag and drop the wav files into the new folder.
  11. Select all audio files and right click. Drag them into the FTP window.
  12. Close the windows.
