Adding Multiple Location Contacts

You can add multiple contacts for a location using the Contact Category dialog box. You can also specify multiple methods of contacting each person, and indicate when each contact method can be used.

  1. Click Task > Locations.
  2. On the Select tab, click the location for which you want to type multiple contact people.
  3. On the Detail tab, click the Contact Info button.
    The Contact Category dialog box appears.
  4. In the Name field, type an identifier for the contact person.
  5. In the First Name field, type the contact person’s first name.
  6. In the Last Name field, type the contact person’s last name.
  7. Optional: Complete the following fields as required
    • Category - In the list, click the contact category.
    • JuristPoly - In the list, click the jurisdiction polygon.
    • Fax - Type the contact person’s fax number.
    • Phone - Type the contact person’s phone number.
  8. Click Add.
  9. Optional: To add multiple contact methods for the contact person, select the contact person, and then click the Contact Info button.
  10. In the Contact Category dialog box, complete the following fields:
    • Object Type - In the list, click the address type.
    • Device Abbr - In the list, click the device type (for example, cell phone).
    • Connect String - Type the contact information (for example, phone number or e-mail address).
    • Visible - To make the contact information visible on other PASS screens, click Yes in the list. If you click No, the information is masked by asterisks on other PASS screens.
    • Comments - Type any comments about the contact method.

  11. Click Save.
  12. To type days and times when you can use the contact method, click the contact method for which you want to specify effective days and times, and then complete the following fields:
    • Week Template - In the list, click the check box for each day of the week when the contact method can be used.
    • From Date - Specify the first date when the contact method can be used. To Date - Specify the last date when the contact method can be used.
    • From Time - Specify the earliest time on a day when the contact method can be used. To Time - Specify the latest time on a day when the contact method can be used.
    • Comments - Type a comment about the contact time.
  13. Click the Save button.
