About Dashboards
Dashboards are designed to provide an at-a-glance overview to managers and other stakeholders.
They are limited to one page of content made up of dashboard tiles. Dashboard tiles are pinned copies of visuals, reports, and other content. Where reports are limited to using one dataset, dashboards can link to reports from several different datasets. However, you cannot drill down in dashboards unless a report page (not just a visual) is pinned as a dashboard tile.
Dashboards (unlike reports) also allow you to create alerts. Alerts notify you when there
are significant changes in your data.
