Workspaces allow individuals and teams to collaborate on specific content using ViewPoint.

Typically, power users use workspaces to create content and then publish workspace content in an app used by consumers. Your personal workspace (My workspace) allows you to experiment with dashboards, reports, and visuals before collaborating with power users in other workspaces.
