Locating Vehicles

Vehicles can be located by using the poll function.

Procedure

  1. In the field below the Run/Vehicle Options frame, select a vehicle.
  2. Click Poll:

    A transmission is sent to the mobile computer on the selected vehicle. The mobile computer immediately sends back its AVL and GPS information. The information appears in the AVL grid.
  3. In the Itinerary/AVL Options frame, select the AVL check box.
    If it is not selected, no results are shown from using the poll function.
    AVL report information appears.
