About Assigning Providers

To be able to assign trips to providers in Trip Broker, providers needs to be assigned to either runs or vehicles using the Trapeze4 Workstation.

Providers can also be assigned to clients. This type of security prevents providers from seeing runs, vehicles, or clients who have been assigned to other providers based on settings in the Trapeze6 Service Shell.

To enforce client providers, in the Trapeze4 Workstation, click Tools > System Properties, and on the Profile tab, set the property PASS Scheduling > Enforce Client Providers to Yes. This allows users to drag-and-drop trips to runs that the client is allowed to be on based on their list of valid providers.
