Device Types

Device Types are the types of devices that can be used to contact employees. They can include mobile phones, computers, and fax machines. Device types although selected for employees apply to all contacts in the system.

Create Device Types ancillary data first since they are used in defining Contact Devices Types ancillary data.

Field	Description
Contact Device Type	Name of device type.
Description	Description of device type.
Communication Method	Select the appropriate option (fax, phone, or email) from the list.
Enable Message Permission	If selected, specifies that a message can be left for the employee.
