Defining a good set of parameters is paramount to successful runcutting in BlockBuster. When defining the rules, you must establish what you are trying to achieve and focus on it.
Importing Parameters from One Sign-up Period to Another
When you use the Import Parameters function to import parameters from one sign-up period to another, the system attempts to match the run type numbers, run type category names, and percentage rule names of the two scenarios.

Importing Parameters from One Sign-up Period to Another

When you use the Import Parameters function to import parameters from one sign-up period to another, the system attempts to match the run type numbers, run type category names, and percentage rule names of the two scenarios.

If any of the items do not match, a warning message is displayed that indicates that not all parameters were imported.

To open the scenario to which you want to import parameters from another sign-up period, click BlockBuster > Scenarios or click the Scenario List button:

The Run Scenarios dialog appears.
Select a scenario which you want as your current scenario.
Click BlockBuster > Parameters > Import Parameters or click the Import Parameters button.

The Import Parameters dialog appears.
Choose the sign-up period from which you would like to import parameters.
From the grid, select the scenario from which you would like to import.
Click OK.
