Sorting Information in the Grids

Sort information in grids with the sort commands included in Standard Toolbar Commands.

For example, in the BlockBuster screen, the runs are sorted by From Time. To see the runs listed in order of platform (Plat) time instead starting with the shortest, perform a sort in ascending order. After you have sorted information by platform time in ascending order, you then decide that it would be helpful to see the information sorted by block number starting with the highest numbered block. Perform another sort in descending order.

  1. Highlight the columns by which you want to sort the information.
  2. Click either one of the following buttons depending on your preferred sort:
    • Sort Ascending:
    • Sort Descending:
All information in the grid is sorted according to the column you chose in the selected order. If you chose more than one column, the sort sequence is determined by column in left to right order.
Note: The Find function searches where the cursor is (in the active field) and not in the highlighted column when the two are different.
