About Defining Barriers with the Distance Wizard

The Distance Wizard can be used to identify barriers on the map and to generate directions to navigate around these barriers.

A barrier is a boundary that blocks off travel within or between specific areas. Barriers can include mountains, rivers where crossing is permitted in only certain areas, or any enclosed area that contains no road system.

It is important to define barriers on the system map so that the system can accurately determine distances and times and navigate routes to get around barriers when calculating the distance between two points using the Barriers method.
