To enable this property, select Dependencies, add an OPS/Bidding/AgencyId option and select Value for the applicable agencies, and then select OK. The default value for this property is unchecked.
To update records in Work Planner based on the selected property, do the following:
  • For the operator performing the vacation relief, select the dates to be updated, then right-click and select Create Vacation Relief. Define the employee who is on vacation during that week and will have their work performed by the vacation relief operator for the selected dates, then select OK.
  • For the employee returning to work early, select the dates to be updated, right-click and select Delete Absences. Review the work Descriptions and select OK.

Fixed a bug that caused accrual validation to fail for mixed absence work bids

This issue affected the Bidding (Vacation) component and prevented users from completing their bids when they selected a run, a holiday run and a two-week absence. The bug was caused by an incorrect calculation of the accrual balance for each employee.

When the OPS > Bidding > VacationRelief > MultiplePass property is selected, the system does the following for employees whose bid units use the ReliefVacation bid category:
  • After Pass:1, the employee's Volunteer status is updated based on the selected day off Quota.
  • After Pass:2, the employee's Volunteer status is updated based on the selected relief weeks' day off templates.
  • If Pass:2 is rolled back, employee Volunteer statuses are updated to match the original Pass:1 results.
  • If Pass:1 is rolled back, all created Volunteer statuses are removed.
  • If Delete Employee Bid is selected for Pass:2, then the employee Volunteer status is updated to match the original Pass:1 results.
When the OPS > Bidding > VacationRelief > MultiplePass property is cleared, then employee Volunteer statuses are updated based on the selected day off Quota and selected work.

Critical: In the Holiday screen, any Service Group Id (including No Fixed Route Service) that specifies only one service day can be selected for non-imported (OPSOnly) agencies.

When OPS > Work > Fixed Route > ExtraWork Use Holiday Service is selected:
  • For holidays created with the Division Group's Service Group Id defined as No Fixed Route Service:

    • After selecting Applying Holiday Service to roll out the holiday the Auto Holiday Bid button is enabled (even though there is no matching extra work).

    • When using Activate Day, no extra work is created.
  • For holidays created with the Division Group's Service Group Id defined as any other (one-day only) service type:

    • After selecting Applying Holiday Service to roll out the holiday, if there is matching work available, the Auto Holiday Bid button is enabled.

    • When using Activate Day, extra work with a Week Template that includes the selected service day and where the extra work's Day Type Grp. includes the holiday's defined Day Type is created.

When OPS > Work > Fixed Route > ExtraWork Use Holiday Service is cleared, a holiday can only be created with a Division Group of No Fixed Route Service.

  • After selecting Applying Holiday Service to roll out the holiday the Auto Holiday Bid button is enabled.

  • When using Activate Day, all extra work with a Week Template that includes the day being activated and where the extra work's Day Type Grp. includes the holiday's defined Day Type is created.

For extra work created for a single date, the OPS > Work > Fixed Route > ExtraWork Use Holiday Service property is ignored. If the extra work's Day Type Grp. includes the day type of the activated day (that is, if the activated day is a holiday then the Day Type assigned to the holiday), then the extra work is available on the holiday.

When creating Quick Extra Work in the Daily Activity screen, the system ensures that a valid day type group is applied to the work. To do this, it does the following:
  • Applies the first defined Day Types group as the quick extra work's Day Type Grp. (Day Types groups are defined in the Ancillary Groups screen.)
  • If the holiday's Day Type is not in this group, then the system uses the DT-ALL day types group for the quick extra work and, if needed, adds the holiday's day type to this group.
  • If the DT-ALL day types group does not exist, then the group is created and all existing day types are added to the group definition found in the Ancillary Groups screen.

Gaps are only considered if they're within the sign-up period of the bid being replicated (not if the employee status ends early within the sign-up period). For employees who have gaps, a message in the log states <employee> has empty intervals between their employee status records. Employee will be skipped in the replication process.
