Changing Name Format

You can display either the short or long format of the names in the column headings.

By default, Short Names is selected in the View menu. The short or abbreviated names of bus stops, timing points (nodes) and routes are displayed in the column headings.

If you have the Itinerary Planning screen open, the option you selected for the screen, for example, Show Short Names or Show Long Names, is also the default for the Headway Wizard. For example, if you selected Show Long Names for the Itinerary Planning screen but selected Short Names from the View menu in the Headway Wizard, the column headings will show long names the next time you open the Headway Wizard even though you selected Short Names from the View menu the last time you opened the tool.

To view the long or full names, perform one of the following steps:
  • Click View > Long Names
  • Click the arrow on the Short Names button: , and then select Full Name.
The name of the button changes to Long Names.
