About Form Letter Templates
Templates are documents with previously developed formats, they are used to create new
documents without creating new formatting each time a standard document is required.
COM provides templates for form letters used to respond to client feedback.
You can set a simple template as the default for the entire COM system and associate more
detailed templates with feedback subtypes. More detailed templates can make form letters seem
more personalized. Configure the template that you want to set as the default in the context
properties and create the more detailed templates in the Feedback Subtypes ancillary data
screen. See the examples shown in the following graphic:
