Feedback subtypes are types of feedback classified within Feedback types. When you type
feedback in the COM Representative or COM Investigator screen, you can classify the feedback
using predefined Feedback types and Feedback subtypes.

Click the Add New button:

From the Feedback Type drop-down list of the new row, choose the feedback type to which you wish to assign a subtype.
Feedback subtypes are types of feedback classified within Feedback types.

In the Feedback Subtype field, type an abbreviation for the new subtype.

In the Description field, type a brief description of the new
subtype.
- Optional:
In the Priority field, select a priority for this feedback type.

(For OPS users only) In the Performance Type Group field, choose
the rule type applicable to the subtype if it is related to driver performance.

In the ReportGroup drop-down list, choose a report group. For
example, if you assigned feedback subtype AD08 (website problem) to the Admin report
group, all information stored in the database for this subtype and all other subtypes
assigned to Admin are generated together in a Roll Up report. If you have not defined
reporting groups, see Report Groups for the procedure.

In the Feedback Category field, choose the category that the
subtype fits in:
Choose Generic for feedback that is not operator or vehicle related.
- Optional:
In the Template File field, select the path
to the form letter template to be used for responding to this feedback subtype.

To mark it as inactive, select the Inactive check box. Only the
active Feedback Subtypes will appear in the Feedback Subtypes drop-down lists of the COM
Representative, COM Investigator, Feedback Responsibilities, and Financial Penalty
screens. In the Context dialog box of the COM Representative and COM
Investigator screens, all Feedback Subtypes will appear in the Feedback
Subtype drop-down list and can be selected.

Click the Save button:
After all report groups are defined, you can assign feedback
subtypes to them.
