Adding ComStates
ComStates refer to the state or condition of a specific feedback based on the actions performed by various employees while completing a workflow in order to resolve an issue or respond to feedback.

Click Ancillary > ComStates.
The ComStates screen appears.

Click the Add New button:
- In the StateId field of the new row, type a number to identify the new state.
- In the StateAbbr field, type an abbreviation of the name of the new state.
- In the Description field, type a brief description of the new state.
- In the Depends On drop-down list, choose a state that must be applied prior to the new state. The menu contains the list of states that were previously defined or listed in the StateAbbr fields. You can choose more than one state.
- Click the Email Starting Date field. Click the calendar icon that appears in the field. Select a start date when an email message is to be sent to clients who require a response and chose email message as their preferred form of communication. The email message uses the template selected in the Template File field.

Click the Template File field.
- Click the folder icon that appears in the field.
- In the Open dialog box, browse and select the template that you want applied to the email messages sent after the start date set in the Email Starting Date field.
- In the Setting Name File field, browse and select the XML file that contains the generic Subject line and message for your template.
