About Communication Modes

The Communication Modes allow you to define the methods through which feedback may be received and sent in the COM Representative and COM Investigator screens.

Screen Fields that reference Communication Modes Description
COM Representative Screen Method Received by Only the methods marked as InMode in the Communication Modes ancillary table are available to be selected.
Required Response Method This refers to the communication method that the customer prefers. Only the methods marked as OutMode in the Communication Modes ancillary table are available to be selected.

COM Investigator screen

Method Received By The field is available in the Customer/Feedback tab where the details of the feedback are recorded. In the Context dialog, you can also use Com. Mode as a filter.
Required Response Method The method that the investigator uses to communicate with the customer as shown in the Investigator Actions pane.
