CTM Reports Properties
The CTM Reports properties determine how various data elements are displayed in INFO-Agent when emailing, printing, or viewing descriptions of trip itineraries.
To access these properties, click and select CTM Reports.
CTM Stop Custom Field: Sets the name of the custom field that appears in the long name/short name/’custom name” list in the Headway Wizard.
CTM Stop Custom Format: Sets the list of custom fields that are displayed in the header, for example, to combine the stop abbreviation, stop name, and IVR number, type “StopAbbr:_A_StopName:_IVRNum:_V_”.
Default Custom Circle Size: Sets the radius of the circle highlighting origins, destinations, and stops on the system map to be set as the default.
Destination Circle Color: Sets the color of the circle around a destination.
Destination Circle Hatch Style: Sets the shading style within the circle around a destination. Destination Circle Transparency: Sets the display properties of the destination circle.
Destination Sign Use Stop Pattern: Allows you to add the specific strings in order that the CTM server uses stop patterns rather than the master patterns, for example, stringID1 string ID2 stringID3. Note that this is used in conjunction with creating supplemental data for stop patterns and ensuring the destination sign information is configured in the proper format.
Direction Name Print Format: Allows you to choose a format to distinguish the line direction in printed itineraries. For example, if you choose Underline, the format is displayed accordingly (line 8 Eastbound).
Duration Print Format: Allows you to choose a format to distinguish trip durations in printed itineraries. Choose a format (for example, bold). This is reflected in the print preview (for example, “Your trip will take 3 minutes.”).
E-mail - Common Message: Enter a generic message. When e-mailing itineraries, this message appears in the body of the e-mail preceding travel instructions.
E-mail - Default Subject: The generic message displayed in the Subject field for all e-mails relaying trip itineraries. (for example, Your trip Itinerary)
E-mail Footer Text: Allows you to type text that appears as a footer on e-mails.

E-mail default from Address: Enter the e-mail address that identifies the sender (your transit site) for all e-mails relaying trip itineraries.
Footer Text: The text at the bottom of the page following itinerary information for itinerary print outs.
Format - 0 Transfers: Defines the portion of the itinerary summary that describes a trip with no transfers in itinerary descriptions, e-mails, or printouts. for example, If you type “no transfers” here, the itinerary summary states: “Your trip has no transfers”.
Format - 1 Stay in Seat Transfer: Defines the information used to describe a trip with one stay in seat transfer. For example, “This trip has 1 stay in seat transfer.”
Format - 1 Transfer: Defines the portion of the itinerary summary that describes a trip with one transfer when you use the Describe Itinerary, e-mail, or print feature. The format set as the default is “1 transfer”.
Format - Arrival: Allows you to format the arrival information conveyed when describing, e-mailing, and printing an itinerary. This is used for arrivals at transfer stops only. (For example, “Arrive &t at stop &s” displays the message: “Arrive 16:10 at stop 3rd @Cesar Chavez OB).
Format - Departure: Allows you to format the departure information in itinerary descriptions, e-mails, and printouts. This is used to describe the departure from the first boarding stop. (For example, “Depart &t from stop &s” displays the message: “Depart 15:55 from stop Trapeze City Centre Bay 2.)
Format - Final Arrival: Sets the format the final arrival (last stop closest to the destination after all transfers) information in itinerary descriptions, e-mails, and printouts. The format set as the default is “Arrive at &t at final destination stop &s”. “&t” signifies the time, “&s” signifies the stop name.
Format - Hour: Describes the duration of a one-hour itinerary, for example, one hour or 1 hour.
Format - Hours: Describes the duration of an itinerary that runs for more than an hour, for example, two hours or 2 hours.
Format - Hours & Minutes: Describes the duration of a trip in e-mails, descriptions, and printouts for trips that take more than an hour. The format set as the default is “%d hour[s] and % minute[s]”.
Format - Hours & Minutes conjunction: Sets the conjunction used to combine the hours and minutes in an itinerary summary, for example, and (two hours and four minutes)
Format - Itinerary Summary: Used for itinerary summaries in itinerary descriptions, e-mail, and printouts. The format set as the default is “Your trip has &x and will take &t”. “&x” signifies the number of transfers, “&t” signifies the time span string.
Format - Minute: Sets the term used for one minute in an itinerary, for example, one minute or 1 minute.
Format - Minutes: Used to relay the duration of a trip in e-mails, descriptions, and printouts for trips that take less than one hour. The format set as the default is “% minute[s]”.
Format - n Stay in Seat Transfers: Defines the information used to describe a trip with more than one stay in seat transfer. For example, “This trip has %d stay in seat transfers.”
Format - n Transfers: Used to relay the number of transfers in a trip where trips have more than 1 transfer. The format set as the default is “%d transfers”.
Format - Request Conditions - Arrival: (for trips with arrival times entered in the Request tab) Defines the message verifying the requested time and service used for generating the itinerary. The format set as the default is “For &srv service in effect from &fDate to &tDate your requested arrive time was &t”.
Format - Request Conditions - Departure: (for trips with departure times entered in the Request tab) Defines the message verifying the requested time and service used for generating the itinerary. The format set as the default is “For &srv service in effect from &fDate to &tDate your requested depart time was &t”.
Format - Same Vehicle: The message displayed on itinerary descriptions, e-mails, and printouts for stay-in-seat-transfers (for example, “stay on the same vehicle”).
Format - Transfer: Used when relaying transfer information in itinerary descriptions, e-mails, and printouts of trips requiring transfers. For example, “
” tells you the time (&t), stop name (&s), and line abbreviation, line name and direction.Transfer &t at stop &s to line &labbr &lname &dirHeader Picture: the image placed at the top left corner of the page for all printed itineraries (for example, your company logo). Click Select to select a file from the Open dialog.
Choose a bmp (bitmap) file and click Open. The Open dialog closes and the file is selected.
Header Text: The text placed at the top of the page for all printed itineraries. (for example, your company name). You can change the appearance of the text in the Font dialog.
- To change the font, style, font size, or color, click Font. The Font dialog appears.
- Change the font, font style, size, color, or script. The Sample field illustrates the look of the text for the current selections. Click OK.
Icon Destination: Allows you to choose an icon to represent a destination on the system map. By default, destinations are represented on the map with a red and white checkered flag:
To replace the default with another icon, click Select. The Open dialog appears. Choose the appropriate icon and click Open. The Open dialog closes and the file is selected.
For the Icon properties, you can set the X and Y coordinates that determine how the icon is displayed on the map.
Icon Origin: Allows you to choose an icon to represent an origin on the system map. By default, origins are represented with a blue and white striped flag:

Icon TransferIn: Allows you to choose an icon to represent the point at which a passenger alights from the bus on the first route to begin a transfer. By default, the Transfer In icon is represented by a triangular blue and white striped flag:

Icon Transfer Out: Allows you to choose an icon to represent the point at which a passenger boards another bus (after initially alighting from one) to complete a transfer. By default, the Transfer Out icon is represented by a triangular red and white checkered flag.
Label Street in preview: If you choose Yes, the system displays the street names of the origin and destination in the maps illustrated with printed trip itineraries. If you choose No, the system displays the maps depicting origin and destination without street labels.
Legend Text: Allows you to define text next to be placed next to the maps generated for print.
Line Description: Determines line information displayed in itinerary descriptions, e-mails, and printouts. Choose one of the following options:
Signage: Displays the destination signage. Line: Displays line abbreviation.
Line and Direction: Displays the line and the direction.
Line Description per stop: Allows you to display detailed line information for each stop in itinerary descriptions, e-mails, and printouts. Choose Yes or No.
Line Name Print Format: Choose a format to determine how line names appear in printed itineraries. (for example, italic).
Line Signage Print Format: Allows you to choose the format (for example, bold) for the line signage. This is only relevant when the property Line Description is set to display “Signage”.
Linked Lines Time Window: Automatically allows the inbound trips to show the outbound signs for any zero cost transfers. It controls the display of the destination sign (showing the second sign) for linked trips in the same block in the itinerary.
Omit Destination Sign Quotes: Some properties display signage with quotations in the following format: “Route 2 Downtown”. By default, the system also places quotes around destinations signage. Choose Yes to have the system place quotes around signage or No to omit them.
Origin Circle Color: Sets the color of the circle around an origin.
Origin Circle Hatch Style: Sets the shading style within a circle around an origin. Origin Circle Transparency: Sets the display properties of the origin circle.
Route trace hatch style: Allows you to choose the style to depict the route trace on the system map (for example, solid).
Route trace transparency: Controls how itinerary lines are represented on the map. Choose Transparent or Opaque. If you want the lines to appear solid, leave the property at Opaque, which is set as the default. To see the names of the streets underneath the lines, select Transparent.
Route trace width: Determines the width of the route trace as illustrated on the map. The minimum value is 1, the maximum value is 20.
Show Agency: Displays Agency column in Details tab and Lines and Stops tab of the Itinerary Planning screen. This identifies the agency for each line and is used primarily for multiple agency services. Choose Yes or No.
Show Fares By Leg: Displays Fare column in the lower grid of the Details tab of the Itinerary Planning screen. When an itinerary is selected in the top grid, the bottom grid displays all legs of the trip, the fares for each leg, and the total fare. Choose Yes or No.
Show Lines from Non-Prod Sign-Ups: Allows viewing of lines from non-production sign-up periods for the Lines parameter (Lines selection dialog) on the Parameters tab.
Show O & D descriptions: Sets context information such as the origin and destination descriptions at the beginning of itinerary Email dialog and itinerary description message box.
Stop Name Print Format: Determines how stop names appear in printed itineraries (for example, bold, underline).
Time Print Format: Determines how times for departures, arrivals, and transfers appear in printed itineraries (for example, bold).
Transfers Print Format: Determines how transfer information appears in the itinerary summary of all itinerary printouts. Transit Access Path Display Threshold (Upper): Sets the threshold on the map used to display the transit access path.
Use Linked Line Description: Activates linked lines and uses the destination sign descriptions for itinerary printouts. Linked lines are used to establish (single) routes on which vehicles travel with destination signs displaying the second line of a set throughout the trip. For example, if lines 002 and 007 are linked together, the destination sign of the vehicle traveling from 002 to 007 shows line 007. Conversely, when the vehicle travels from 007 to 002, the destination sign shows line
002. Choose Yes or No.
Walking Time Included in Itinerary Duration: Allows you to combine the transit on-board time (on the Details tab) and the walking times (origin, destination, and transfer).
