Remarks Properties
The Remarks properties allows the control of the addition, editing, and, removal of remarks.
To access these properties, click and select Remarks.
The Remarks system properties are:
Check for new remark: If set to Yes, the system checks for new remarks. The Remarks command is shown on the main toolbar in the Headway Wizard screen. If set to No, the system ignores new remarks.
Check for new remark interval: Enter the time interval at which remarks are checked. Remember that the interval must be entered in the same format as defined in workstation properties for time spans (that is, make sure you know if you are entering 30 seconds versus 30 minutes).
Check Spelling when Saving a Remark: If set to Yes, when you save a remark, the system checks for words that are spelled differently from the dictionary in use and launches the Check Spelling dialog through which you can choose to correct, ignore, or add the words to the dictionary.
Default expiry period: Enter a value, in days, which determines how long a remark remains current before it expires.
Delete Expired MDT Remarks After: Sets the number of days before MDT remarks are removed. The MDT remarks are created in Trapeze PASS-MDC.
Remark Context End Window: Allows you to adjust the end time set as the default in the Remarks Context dialog.
Remark Context Start Window: Allows you to adjust the start time set as the default in the Remarks Context dialog.
Show Expired Remarks: Choose Yes or No. The buttons in the Remarks dialog are provided to override this property in the following manner: when neither buttons are depressed, both expired and non-expired remarks are shown; when the left button (red book) is clicked, only non-expired remarks are shown; when the right button (open book) is clicked, only expired remarks are shown. This is set to No by default.
Show Pending Remarks: If set to Yes, and the left button is clicked, unread remarks and current valid remarks that are pending are shown. If the right button is clicked, the remarks that have not been read and current valid remarks that are pending are shown. This is set to No by default.
