Assigning Auto Break Rules

Auto-break rules are used for planned driver breaks such as a lunch break.

Before you begin

Runs must be open.

About this task

If auto-break logic is used at your site and auto-break rules have been defined (in File > Ancillary Data > Para > Organizations > Auto Driver Break Rules), you can assign an auto-break rule to the run.

Procedure

  1. Search for the run to which to assign an auto-break rule.
  2. Click the Detail tab.
  3. In the Auto Break Rule list, click a rule.
    Breaks are automatically created and inserted into the run itinerary according to the parameters of the selected rule.
  4. Click the Save button:
    Diskette.

Other breaks can be inserted manually into the run itinerary in Schedule Editor.
