Freezing Runs

Freezing a run prevents trips from being added to it, and existing trips from being removed from it.

Before you begin

Runs must be open.

About this task

A frozen run is excluded from run clustering and batch scheduling, and it is not offered for solutions when running the Schedule Booking Wizard. You can also freeze runs in Schedule Editor.

Frozen runs appear in the Tracker Action Browser with the Track Action PASS/RunFrozen (if defined in Tracker Action ancillary data). If a trip is subsequently unfrozen, it appears in the Tracker Action Browser with the Track Action PASS/RunUnFrozen(if defined in Tracker Action ancillary data)

Procedure

  1. Search for and select the run to freeze.
  2. Click the Detail tab.
  3. Select the Is Frozen check box.
  4. Click the Save button:
    Diskette.
