Adding Required or Denied Passenger Types

Passenger type restrictions can be applied to a booking when it is created in Trip Booking.

Before you begin

Client Registration must be open.

About this task

If, for example, you add the denied passenger type to the booking using the Edit Booking Activity command in Trip Administration, the change is allowed.

Procedure

  1. Search for and select the client.
  2. Click the Detail tab.
  3. In the passenger grid, in the Pass column, click the cell in the first row.
    A drop-down arrow appears.
  4. Click the arrow and choose the passenger type.
  5. In the Action column, click the cell in the first row.
  6. Click the arrow and choose the action type:

    Required The passenger type must be included in every booking. When a booking is created for the client, the passenger type is automatically added to the booking in the Leg Detail frame in Trip Booking.
    Denied The passenger type is denied from all new bookings.
    In Trip Booking, if a mandatory passenger type is removed or a denied passenger type is added, a warning message appears when you attempt to save the booking.
  7. Click the Save button:
