Deleting a Step from a Scheduled Job

When a scheduled job step is no longer needed, it can be deleted.

Before you begin

Schedule Job Agent must be open.

Procedure

  1. Select a job in the grid.
    The settings of the job record are shown in the lower section of the dialog box.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Click Job Data.
    The Job Data dialog box appears.
  4. Select the job step.
  5. Click Delete.
    The job step is deleted.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Close.
