Batch Scheduling Using Date Matching

This method allows you to match one live date against another.

Before you begin

Trip Administration must be open.

About this task

This method is rarely applied but is useful if you have a temporary change in your schedule. For example, matching a current holiday schedule to a past holiday schedule. Before you proceed, confirm that subscriptions for the live day being scheduled have already been activated.

Procedure

  1. Select a schedule using the Select Schedule dialog box:
    1. Select the Schedule check box.
    2. Click the ellipsis button (…).
    3. In the Type list, click LIVE.
    4. In the Schedule list, select a date.
    5. Click OK.
  2. Select the Act, Cas, Sch, Unsch, and Both filters to show all activated subscription trips.
  3. Click Display.
  4. Select all trips shown in the grid by clicking the square in the upper-leftmost corner:

  5. Right-click in the highlighted area and click Batch.
    The Batch Parameters dialog box appears.
  6. Click the ellipsis button (…) next to the Match To Schedule field.
  7. In the Select Schedule dialog box, select the Type: Live and the Schedule date. For example, 08-08-2020.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Select the Match Bookings Against this Schedule check box and clear the Schedule the unscheduled bookings check box.
  10. Click Para (and Taxi if you schedule taxi runs) and select any additional options.
  11. Click Start.
  12. When the Batch Monitor indicates that the batch scheduling process is complete, click Close.
