Recording a No-Show in Dispatch Center

When the driver shows up at the appointed time and place of a pick-up and the client is not present, record the event as a no-show in the Dispatch Center.

Before you begin

Dispatch Center must be open.

Procedure

  1. In the Incident Dispatch grid (or Violations grid if the event is shown there), select the pick-up event.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click and click NoShow.
    • Click the No Show button:
      House and question mark.
    A This will Noshow the selected event. message appears.
  3. Click OK.
    The Set Time dialog box appears.
  4. In the Actual field, type the time at which the no show occurred.
  5. Click OK.
    The Set Time dialog box closes and the event is flagged with the NS cancel code.

Results

When the Incident Dispatch grid is refreshed, the drop-off event is removed from the Dispatch Incidents grid and the run itinerary in Schedule Editor.
