About Managing Shelters

Shelters are designated short-term locations that clients are transported to during an evacuation.

These locations need to be defined in the TRR system so that clients can be assigned, either manually or according to their location, to ensure that shelters are not over capacity. A corresponding trip is also created for each client to indicate the route and time needed to transport everyone.
