Searching for Shelter Records

You can use the Filter pane to search for shelter records.

Before you begin

Log on to Rapid Response .

Procedure

  1. Click the Main Menu button:
    Three horizontal lines.
  2. Click Manage Shelters.

    The Select step is automatically selected.

  3. In the Filter pane, define the criteria for which to search for a shelter:
    • In the blank search field, type all or part of the name of a shelter, or by using search parameters in one of the following formats:
      /all or /*
      Show all shelter records.
      /ShelterId
      Search by shelter ID.
    • Type all or part of the shelter's address in the address fields.
  4. Optional: Change the number in the Max Records to Display field to increase or decrease the number of search results.
    You can specify up to 1000 records.

    If you change the number in this field after searching, you must click Find again to show the increased or decreased number of search results.

  5. Click Find.
    If the system returns no records, no shelters match the search criteria.

    If the system finds a matching shelter, the system opens the record and shows the shelter's information.

    If the system finds multiple shelters that match the search criteria or if you search for all records, the system shows results in a grid.

  6. To select a shelter, double-click the record.
