Accepting or Declining Updated Trips

For assigned trips that have been updated (for example, the client has changed the requested pick-up time or location), the assigned provider needs to review the trip and accept it again or decline it if it can no longer be performed.

Before you begin

Trip Broker must be open to the main Trip Broker screen.

About this task

Updated trips that have been accepted are moved to the Accepted list. Updated trips that have been declined are moved to the Declined list as well as the Unscheduled list, where the trip needs to be assigned to another provider.

Procedure

  1. In the Provider Status Summary pane, click Updated.
  2. Review each updated trip and accept or decline it:
    • To accept the trip, right-click on it and click Accepted.

      The trip is moved to the Accepted list.

    • To decline the trip, right-click on it and click Declined.

      The trip is moved to the Declined list.

      The declined trip is also listed again in the Unscheduled list, where it is available to be assigned to another provider.

  3. Click the Accepted status to view all trips that have been accepted, or click the Declined status to view all trips that have been declined.
