About Runcutting on Graphs
On the Graphical Runcutting tab, the data that is shown in the columns in the grid is illustrated in the timelines on the graph.
The graph provides you flexibility in performing most of the various runcutting features available in BlockBuster. For example, to create a run, select a piece from the Blocks view and drag and drop it to where you want to add it in the Runs view. You can also drag and drop a piece of a run into another run in the Runs view.
Typically, graphical runcutting is based on line groups, vehicle types, and a mix and match of these data types. For example, you want to view or create a schedule of runs based on vehicle types. Set the context based on one type of vehicle, for example, articulated buses, and cut runs appropriate for this type of vehicle. Once the runs are completed. change the context based on another type of vehicle, and proceed to add runs for this vehicle type.
