Deleting Shape Points from Segments

The shape of a segment can also be changed by deleting shape points.

Make sure that you have write access to the map data.
Note: A segment end point cannot be changed unless the segments connected to it are deleted.
  1. On the MapEdit screen, make sure the Select Point button is pressed by performing one of the following steps:
    • Click Map > Points Mode.
    • On the toolbar, click the Select Point button: Select Point button
  2. Click the shape point to be deleted. The selected point appears in cyan (blue).
  3. Click Edit > Delete¸ or click the Delete button: Delete button
  4. Click Edit > Save, or click the Save button: Save button

    MapEdit draws the new segment shape without the deleted points.
