Accrual Balance Fields

You can view and edit employee accrual balances in the Accrual Balance ancillary data screen.

Table 1. Accrual Balance Ancillary Data Fields
Field	Required/ Optional	Description
Badge Number	Optional	Employee badge number.
Last Name	Optional	Employee last name.
First Name	Optional	Employee first name.
Employee Id	Optional	Integer that uniquely identifies an employee.
Accrual Year	Required	Accrual year.
Accrual Type	Required	Type of time (for example, vacation time, sick time).
Date	Required	Date as of which the accrual balances are valid.
Accrual Balance	Optional	Amount of time that the employee has accrued in the current accrual year as of the Date value. This field is only used for accrual types where employees cannot use accrued time until the next accrual year.
Accrual After Date	Optional	Date when the employee can start using the accrual amount saved in the Accrual After Balance field. This accrual increase is due to an Accrual Grid band change. This field is only used if employees cannot use accrued time until the next accrual year, and accrual increases due to job band changes are saved in separate columns.
Accrual After Balance	Optional	Additional accrual amount due to an Accrual Grid band change. The employee cannot use the increase until the date specified in the Accrual After Date field. This field is only used if employees cannot use accrued time until the next accrual year, and accrual increases due to job band changes are saved in separate columns.
Eligible Balance	Optional	Amount of time that the employee has accrued and is eligible to use as of the Date value.
Additional EligBalance Date	Optional	Date when the employee can start using the accrual amount specified in the Additional EligBalance field. This accrual increase is due to an Accrual Grid band change. This field is only used if accrual increases due to job band changes are saved in separate columns.
Additional EligBalance	Optional	Additional accrual amount due to an Accrual Grid band change. The employee cannot use the increase until the date specified in the Additional EligBalance Date field. This field is only used if accrual increases due to job band changes are saved in separate columns.
