About Accrual Generation
OPS Accrual Generation is an add-on product for Trapeze OPS that enables you to calculate how much vacation time, sick time, or other times employees have accrued.
Loading the Accruals Module
Add the accrual module in the Client Shell before to use accrual functions.
Overwriting Accrual Balance Records
You can specify whether to save one or multiple accrual records in an accrual year for each employee and type of time (for example, vacation time, sick time).
Accruals Permissions
You need to grant certain permissions to users before they can generate accrual balances.
Accruals Properties
These properties determine the appearance and behavior of accrual screens and functions.
Accrual Types
Accrual Types ancillary data defines types of time that employees can accrue. For example, vacation and sick days.
About Accrual Grid Bands
In Accrual Grid ancillary data, you can specify how much vacation time, sick time, or other time that employees accrue, depending on their job classes and months of service.

About Generating Accruals
You can use ancillary data to calculate accrued time.
Generating Accruals
When you generate accruals, the system applies ancillary data to calculate accrued times for the period, divisions, and accrual types that you specify.
Undoing Accrual Generations
You can undo the latest accrual generation for each division and accrual type combination. You cannot undo accrual records that have been edited since the accrual generation.
Editing Employee Accrual Balances
You can edit an employee's accrual balances using the Accrual Balance screen.
Accrual Balance Fields
You can view and edit employee accrual balances in the Accrual Balance ancillary data screen.
Viewing Accrual Generation Logs
Use the OPS Process Log to view accrual generation process information.
Confirming Accruals Have Been Generated
You can use the OPS Daily Status screen to determine whether accruals have been generated for a particular accrual period.
