About Yard Management

Yard Management allows you to manage garages and yards from a central location.

Using the Yard Management module, you can:
  • View and enter information about vehicles in your fleet (including trains)
  • Manage vehicle availability
  • Create parking grids that represent parking locations in yards or that are used to list vehicles in yards
  • Remove, build, and split blocks in Trapeze OPS when required
  • Assign vehicles to blocks or pieces of work
Vehicles can be assigned based on:
  • Yard locations
  • Vehicle requirements
  • Specialized equipment or attributes (for example, wrapping)
