Encrypting PIN Information

If the system contains unencrypted PIN numbers, use the OPS Upgrade Utilities screen to encrypt them.

Unencrypted employee PINs are most likely to be in the system after using the Employee Import screen.
  1. Open the OPS Upgrade Utilities screen.
  2. Select Version: System Maintenance.
  3. Select Update Hashed Pin Number from current Employee Pin number (Reference OPS-15243).

  4. Select Perform Upgrade Integrity Check: Perform Upgrade Integrity Check button.
