Creating Banked Time Elections in the Client Shell

Client Shell users can create banked time elections specify days and holidays for which employees accrue time for holiday work or overtime work instead of being paid for the worked time.

When timekeeping is calculated for a day, time accrued through banked time elections is added to the accrual balance specified in ancillary data. Employees can also specify banked time elections in bids.
  1. In the Client Shell, open the Employee Profile screen and set the Context (F3).
  2. Select an employee and then Banked Time Elections.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To create a new banked time election, in the detail view, right-click and select Add New Record.
    • To create a new banked time election based on an existing record, select a record in the list view, select the detail view, and then select Clone Record: Clone Record
  4. Complete the applicable fields.
    Note:
    Max Time may refer to either the actual time (for example, if 4h is used, a maximum of 4 hours is banked regardless of paycode rate factor) or the work time (for example, if 4h is used, a maximum of 4 hours multiplied by the paycode rate factor is banked).

    This is determined by the OPS > Timekeeping > Bank Time Election MaxTime Reference property.

  5. Select Save.
