Setting Notifications as Expired

The Expire option is used if it is deemed that there is no longer a need to send out a notification, for example, an urgent notification of an unexpected service delay, but the issue was cleared before the notifications could be sent out.

  1. On the Notification List screen, select the notification in the list.
  2. In the Options list, select Expire and click Go.
    Notifications that are set as expired are removed from the Notifications list but are not deleted from the database.
    The notification is no longer shown on the list.
