Example: Canceling a Prepaid Trip in Advance (with Penalty)

If a financial penalty is associated with canceling a trip, it can automatically be deducted from the client's purse.

  • When the booking is first created, in Trip Booking, in the Leg Details frame, the fare amount is listed as $10.00.

  • If the prepaid trip is canceled, the fare is credited back to the client's purse. A debit transaction for the cancellation penalty is also debited from the purse.

    In this example, the cancellation penalty is $0.50.
