Client Eligibility Information
Client eligibility information defines the eligibility conditions assigned to the client and the travel parameters specific to that condition.
All information is optional except the From Date. You must enter a date in the From Date column or the file cannot be saved.

| Max Transfer | Maximum number of transfers allowed for the client. |
| Exclusive Group |
Click Yes to automatically select the Exclusive Group check box in Trip Booking when new bookings are created for the client. |
| Client Period Type | Frequency of travel allowed for the client in the list:

| Client Period Type No | Number of trips allowed for the client period type. For example, if Weekly is selected in the Client Period Type column and the Client Period Type No is 2, the client is allowed to book two trips each week. |
| Funding Source 1 | Client's primary funding source. This appears in the first Funding Source field in Trip Booking when new bookings are created for the client. This selection overrides the funding source selections on the Funding Source tab. To activate this feature, open Trip Booking and click . On the Booking Screen tab, click Over Ride Funding Sources. Set this property to Yes. |
| Funding Source 2 | Client's secondary funding source. The selected funding source appears in the second Funding Source field in Trip Booking when you create a booking for the client. |
| Purpose | Client's reason for taking trips. For example, Work. When the rule is in effect for new bookings, the selected trip purpose appears in the Purpose field in Trip Booking. |
| Fare Type | Client's fare type. When the eligibility condition is in effect, this selection is automatically imported to the Leg Detail frame of Trip Booking (overriding the Fare Type selected on the Detail tab). |
| Para Service | Client's paraservice type. This selection is automatically imported to Trip Booking when creating a booking. |
| Direct Distance Limit | Maximum distance allowed for a booking between the client’s origin and
destination. For example, if you type 5 and the distance exceeds 5 (miles or kilometers), a warning message appears. Note: To
determine the distance unit (miles or kilometers) being used, check , on the Formats tab, under
Distance. |
| Additional PassType |
Maximum number for each passenger type allowed to travel with the client. In the list, select the appropriate check box. A 1 automatically appears. To increase the number of the selected passenger type, click and overwrite the 1 with the desired number. For example, 3. In Trip Booking, if you choose a passenger type that does not match your selection or if you exceed the number of passengers allowed, a warning message appears. |
| Allowed Space Type |
Maximum number and type of additional spaces allowed for a client booking. Select the appropriate check boxes, and then type the number of space types required. In the Leg Detail frame of Trip Booking, if a space type that does not match these selections is selected for the client or if a passenger with a space type that does not match these selections is added, an error message appears when the Save button is clicked. |
| Max OBT | Maximum time a client can remain on board. |
| Method of Payment | How the client pays for trips:
If no option is selected, the system applies the default option (set in , on the Profile tab, under ). For example, if you have prepaid faring set up for the client but choose Pay At Door, no deduction is made from the client account when a booking is made. |
| MobAids | Mobility aids allowed for the client. In Trip Booking, if you select a mobility aid that does not match your selection on the Eligibility tab, a warning message appears. |
| Comments | Additional comments to be shown in the Client Eligibility
Info dialog box when the eligibility condition is activated for a
specific booking. Any comments typed in this field will appear in the Elig. Comm field in Trip Booking if the system property found in , on the Profile tab, under is set to Yes. |
| Max Walking Distance | Maximum distance a client is allowed to walk to a FLEX bus stop. |
| Require AuthorizationNo | Whether an authorization number is required for the trip booking to be accepted. |
| Booking FromTime | Client's earliest booking request time. |
| Booking ToTime | Client's latest booking request time. |
| Service Parameter | Used with service parameters specified in ancillary data for particularly
complex rules. Note: If you need help setting up a rule, consult your Trapeze
representative. |
