Assigning Providers and Provider Contracts to Runs

Security groups are assigned to providers when the provider records are created.

Before you begin

Runs must be open.

About this task

The providers that are on the Provider list are those who are associated with the user group to which you have been assigned in Trapeze6.

Providers are defined in Providers ancillary data and Provider Contracts ancillary data are used in PASS-CT.

Procedure

  1. Search for the run to which to assign a provider and provider contract.
  2. Click the Detail tab.
  3. In the Provider list, click a provider.
    Leaving the field blank or clicking N/A allows the system to choose any provider for the run especially if you prompt the system to find the lowest cost provider for a run.
  4. In the Contract list, click the appropriate contract.
  5. Click the Save button:
