Preparing to Book Trips

Bookings cannot be created without a defined Set Mode Schedule Type.

Before you begin

The Trapeze4 Workstation must be open.

About this task

If a default Live schedule type is not set for the system, a mode schedule type must be defined. Other Set Mode options are used with other Trapeze products and typically do not affect PASS users. Schedule Types are defined in Schedule Administrator.

Procedure

  1. Set a default Live schedule type:
    Default Live schedule types are set by a system administrator.
    1. Click Tools > System Properties.
    2. Click the Profile tab.
    3. Click Pass Scheduling > Schedule Type - Active Live.
    4. Select the default schedule type to use.
      Typically, this would be LIVE.
    5. Click Apply.
    6. Click OK.
      The defined schedule type is used for setting up trips in Trip Booking when no other set mode is defined.
  2. Set a Set Mode for the schedule type:
    1. Click File > Set Mode.
    2. Select a Schedule Type.
      Typically, this would be LIVE.
    3. Click OK.
      The defined schedule type is used for setting up trips in Trip Booking.
