Schedule Editor Commands

Specific commands are found in Schedule Editor's View menu and by using the toolbar buttons.

Commands marked with an asterisk (*) display schedule events on the system map. The system map must be open before using these commands, which are also located in the Map menu.

Click View > Refresh as required to update the screen to display the most recent information.

Close Partially open door. Closes Schedule Editor.
Back Left-facing arrowhead. Restores the last command or returns to the previous screen.
Forward Right-facing arrowhead. Shows the next view, which is useful when switching back and forth between views.
Display Schedules S on green paper.

Shows all live and template schedules.

To display only loaded schedules, ensure the Loaded/Unloaded Schedules button is pressed.

Display Runs R on blue paper. Shows all runs for the selected schedule.
Display Runs Itinerary Small I and large R on three columns of lines. Shows the run itinerary for the selected run.
Display Client Itinerary Small I and large C on three columns of lines. Shows the client's itinerary.
Display Bookings B on purple paper. Lists all of the client's bookings.
Display Trips Ts on blue paper. Lists all unscheduled trips.
Display All Scheduled Events Small I on three columns of lines. Shows all scheduled client events on a selected schedule or run, ordered by run and time.
Display Driver Itinerary Bus (side view). Shows the driver's itinerary (available when viewing a run itinerary).
Display Slack Time Stopwatch. Shows the slack time for each run for a selected schedule.
Display Dead Head Square clock. Shows the deadhead time for each run for a selected schedule.

To toggle between displaying deadhead by distance and time, click the Switch Distance/Time Mode button.

Passenger Count Two blue people on a yellow square. Shows the number of passengers transported within 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or hourly intervals for a given schedule.

To toggle between a passenger count or trip count view, click the Switch Trips/Passenger Mode.

Run Graphical View Green R. Shows all runs in a graphic timeline.
Client and Booking Info Question mark. Shows information about the selected client and his or her booking information for the selected trip.
Show Driver/Vehicle Information Blue and red bus. Opens the Driver/Vehicle Information dialog box.
Find Binoculars. Searches for a client, booking, location, vehicle, run, or driver.
Show Itinerary Large green I on columns of text. Shows the selected run's itinerary.
View Flag Stops Red-orange flag on a striped pole. Shows flag stops that have been inserted in a run itinerary.
Previous Run Bus front with a green left-facing arrow.

Shows the run itinerary of the run preceding the currently selected run itinerary in Runs view.

Note: This command is only available when a run itinerary appears in Schedule Editor.
Next Run Bus front with a green right-facing arrow.

Shows the run itinerary of the run following the currently selected run itinerary in Runs view.

Note: This command is available only when a run itinerary appears in Schedule Editor.
MDT Center Small box with WiFi lines over it. Opens MDT Center.
Odometer Integrity Blue circle with a counterclockwise arrow and five squares. Shows the odometer reading for the vehicle assigned to the run.
Loaded/Unloaded Schedules Open box with different-colored squares in it. Toggles between listing all schedules and only loaded schedules.
Goto Pair Two diagonal-facing arrows and a two-headed arrow. Highlights the corresponding pick-up or drop-off event in the run itinerary.
Switch Distance/Time Mode Intersecting yellow lines. When the Display Dead Head Time button is pressed, toggle between displaying deadhead by distance or time.
Switch Trips/Passenger Mode A red and blue person icon. When the Passenger Count button is pressed, toggle between passenger count view or trip count view.
Switch ON/OFF Zebra Mode Three crayons: one red, one green, and one blue. Shows the rows of the displayed itinerary in alternating colors for increased readability.
Reschedule Three times: 1:07, 1:10, and 1:40. Reschedules the selected trip in the Schedule Booking Wizard.
Tracker Action Insert Pencil in hand writing in a book. Inserts a Tracker Action event.
Tracker Action Browser Paper emerging from rectangular box. Opens the Tracker Action Browser.
Advance Cancellation Text overlaid with a red X. Cancels the selected trip in advance.
No-Show House and question mark. Marks the selected trip as a no-show.
Edit Booking Pencil and three dots. Edits the selected booking.
Mark as Sent By Voice Speaker. Marks the selected trip as Sent by Voice.
Mark as Arrived Small I and large A over three columns of lines. Marks the selected trip as Arrived.
Mark as Performed Small I and large V over three columns of lines. Marks the selected trip as Performed.
Display on Map* Computer monitor with three dots on it. Displays a single event or run itinerary on the system map.
Zoom* Magnifying glass. Shows a closer view of any selected event or run itinerary when the Display on Map button is pressed.
Follow* Two footprints. Shows each successive event you select when both the Display on Map button and Follow button are pressed.

Information shown on the map includes the event type (PU or DO), status (S or U) and estimated arrival time.

Show labels Flag with the word Label written on it. Shows the vehicle and location information on the map.
Poll Bus with question mark. Shows the whereabouts of a vehicle.

Polling the vehicle is functional only if you have an AVL (Automated Vehicle Location) system implemented at your site.

ETA The letters ETA. Shows the estimated time of arrival for the vehicle on the map.
Customize Grid Four lines and three check marks. Allows you to select which columns to display in the selected Schedule Editor view.
Print Printer. Exports the view columns to a *.txt file or Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
Vehicle Breakdown Wizard Taxi. Moves a vehicle in need of service to another run.
Escort Change Wizard Hand holding a wand. Opens the Escort Change Wizard to manage an escort's information within the system.

For example, replacing an employee with another for selected schedules during a date range.

MDC Down Speaker with a red circle and line over it. Sends a notification message to clients on a run when a vehicle has been taken out of service and that the trip has been delayed as a result.
Checklist Results
Notepad and pencil.
For use with a driver circle checklist completed using a supported MDT device.
View Complaints Magnifying glass over a paper with red writing on it. For use with the COM module.
View Signature
Rectangle outlined in green with a red X in the bottom right corner.
For use with a supported MDT device.
Run Flashback Clock with a counterclockwise arrow. Shows how a trip looked when it was previously schedule.
Monitor Monitor with a light blue dot on it.

Shows the Monitor screen in Runs view for the selected date and run.

Add to Bookmarks Open book. Bookmarks a record shown in Schedule Editor, which can be accessed again from any other screen in the Workstation.
