Schedule Editor Commands for Editing Schedules
The following table describes all available commands that can be used while editing a schedule.
With the exception of cancel commands, which are located under the Cancel/No Show menu, all functions can be found under the Edit menu in Schedule Editor. Most functions are also available in the main toolbar and the right-click menu for quick and easy access.

to locate the corresponding event (for example, drop-off). The corresponding event is highlighted on the screen. |

There are two ways to unschedule a trip:

Highlight a booking, and then click this button. The Schedule Booking Wizard opens for scheduling/rescheduling this booking. |
| Autoschedule | Edit menu | Automatically schedules a booking. You do not have to click the Find button. |
| Add Break Before | Edit menu | Inserts a break to occur before an event on a run itinerary. |
| Add Break After | Edit menu | Inserts a break to occur after an event on a run itinerary. |
| Edit Break | Edit menu | Edit an existing break. When selected, the Edit Existing Break dialog box appears. |
| Edit Passenger Counts | Edit menu | (FLEX Routes) Not yet implemented. A tool used to count the number of passengers aboard a vehicle including passengers who have boarded the bus without having previously booked trips. |
| Delete | Edit menu | Delete breaks from a run itinerary when necessary. If you select a trip event (pick-up or drop-off) by accident, the booking disappears from the run and is unscheduled. |
| Move Block | Edit menu | This option is functional only for FLEX Routes. |
| Advance Cancellation | ![]() |
Marks the status of a trip when a client has canceled a trip in advance. Click the drop-down arrow for additional cancellation codes. Note: Advance Cancellation and No Show
are frequently used cancellation reasons that are available in the toolbar.
Additional cancel commands are located in the Cancel/No Show
menu.

| Edit Booking SupData | Edit menu | Edit or add a comment on the Supplementary
Data tab. Select the booking and click . Comments in this field are private. This information is not printed on the driver manifest, does not affect the schedule, and therefore, does not require the trip to be rescheduled. |
| Edit Booking Activity | Edit menu | Edit the leg details of a booking in a separate dialog box. For example, add a passenger or change a fare type. |
| Edit Provider Cost Adjustment | Edit menu |
Adjust a calculated cost using Provider Contracts (a manual adjustment amount can be added into the Provider Cost field). Results are shown in the PC Adj. and PC Adj. Summary columns in Run Itinerary view. |
| Edit Event Activity | Edit menu | (PASS-ED only) Edit event activities that refer to events associated with multiple passengers boarding at a bus stop. |
| Pull Out Assign | Edit menu |
Assign a driver and/or vehicle to a run and record the pull-out time and odometer reading at the time of the pull-out. Inactive client and vehicle records are filtered from appearing in lists on this screen. When a schedule is being activated, Schedule Server removes any preassigned driver or vehicle that is marked as inactive. |

| Reschedule Escort | Edit menu |
Replace an escort with an alternative escort. Escort scheduling is used to add a passenger assistant (escort) onto a run. The escort accompanies a passenger who has special transportation needs. |
| Freeze Event | Right-click menu |
For scheduled trips (one trip or multiple trips), you can freeze an event (pick-up and drop-off) to maintain its position on the run. No event can be inserted between these events and they cannot be moved to another run. A check mark next to the Freeze Event command in the right-click menu shows that the event is frozen. To remove the freeze status, click the command again. The check mark is no longer shown. A frozen event will appear in the Tracker Action Log with the Track Code PASS/Frozen (if defined in Tracker Action ancillary data). If the event is subsequently unfrozen, it will be marked with the Track Code PASS/UnFrozen (if defined in Tracker Action ancillary data). A frozen trip can be identified by a specific color in Trip Administration and Schedule Editor. Click the and, on the Tools tab, click . |
| Lock Booking | Right-click menu |
Prevents a selected booking from being rescheduled during a batch schedule. You can lock bookings when viewing run itineraries, client itineraries, scheduled client bookings, and all events in Schedule Editor. When a booking is locked a check mark appears next to the Lock Booking command to indicate that it is locked. To unlock a booking, select the trip and click Lock Booking. The check mark no longer appears. Locked bookings can be rescheduled using the Schedule Booking Wizard. A locked booking can be identified by a specific color in Trip Administration and Schedule Editor. Click and, on the Tools tab, click . |
| Freeze Run | Right-click menu |
Prevents trips from being added to a run and existing trips from being removed from it. A frozen run is excluded from run clustering and batch scheduling, and it is not offered for solutions when running the Schedule Booking Wizard. A frozen run will appear in the Tracker Action Log with the Track Code PASS/RunFrozen (if defined in Tracker Action ancillary data). |
| Planning Mode | Right-click menu | This command is available by right-clicking in some areas of
Schedule Editor, such as the Run List and Run
Itinerary views. Planning mode must be enabled by a system administrator in Schedule Administrator. |
| Run Optimizer | Right-click menu | This command is available by right-clicking in
Runs and Run Itinerary views. The command applies to the highlighted runs. Select it to open a Run Optimizer paramdialog box, which allows you to select a parameter set and a violation set. Defaults are automatically selected based on the PASS Scheduling system properties Run Optimizer Parameter Set and Run Optimizer Violation Set (found in , on the Profile tab). |
