Runcutting is the process of developing or cutting runs from a group of vehicle blocks. Runs are composed of complete blocks or segments of blocks.

Freezing forced runs is usually applied after forcing a run into a run type.

Freezing the run ensures that when the Recut Existing Runs option is applied in the Cut dialog, the frozen run is not changed. However, frozen runs are changed if the Cut All Blocks From Scratch option is selected.

Select the run and click Freeze in the Run Cost dialog.

Alternatively, to freeze and unfreeze the runs, click the Freeze button:

The run is marked with an “F” in the St column. The Freeze button also changes into an Unfreeze button which allows you to unfreeze the run.
