Freezing Columns
In cases when you do not want changes made to data in certain columns, you can choose to freeze them to prevent them from being modified.
- Highlight the columns you want to freeze and right-click.
- From the shortcut menu, choose Freeze. The columns remain in view even when you scroll horizontally through the screen.

To remove the frozen status, right-click and choose Unfreeze
from the shortcut menu.
Columns return to their original positions and color.
If the column you froze was not positioned on the left of the screen, then it moves to the left. All frozen columns change color to indicate their frozen status
