Pattern Options for 5-Day Rosters
You can create various mixtures of weekdays and weekends for a 5-day roster.
The following table explains the options in the Pattern column in the Create Off Days frame when you select the 5 Day option.

| 7-7-6 |
Combines two 7-day rosters with one 6-day roster to form three regular rosters and one relief roster, all with consecutive Off days. You can also create three 5-day rosters from the two 7-day rosters. The system also creates an extra (detail) run and allow you to specify which days are removable from the two 7-day rosters and which days are allowable for the extra runs. |

Combines one 7-day roster with three 6-day rosters to form four regular rosters and one relief roster. Three rosters will have all consecutive Off days and two rosters will have non-consecutive Off days. |

Takes five 7-day rosters to form five regular rosters and two relief rosters, all with consecutive Off days. |
| 5 6’s | Combines five 6-day rosters to form five regular rosters and one relief roster. Two rosters have consecutive Off days and four rosters have non-consecutive Off days. |

Only applies if you do not include Sundays in your rosters. This option works with the Ignore Sundays check box. |
